Just like my previous three solo piano albums (The Renewing, Deep Joy, and Swept Away), my new CD includes a mix of neo-classical and new age compositions.

For you piano players out there, I’m pleased to offer more sheet music: all of the songs from Awaken can be downloaded from my website.

Since this is just the pre-release of Awaken, the album is not available for purchase everywhere yet, but it is available immediately from my website. It should be widely available from online stores such as iTunes, Amazon, Napster, etc. in the next few weeks.

It didn’t seem to fit well for the new solo piano album I’m working on, so I decided to turn it into an upbeat polka-dance score, complete with strings, piano, accordion, and driving bass and drums.

Now a few hours later, I finished it off and uploaded it to my site on my Miscellaneous music page. The song is called “Misunderstood”.

However, what you may not know is that I also write music for games and have a large list of other types of music that you can listen to and download via the Music Player (the link at the top-left of the page). In fact, like I mentioned in a previous post, I enjoy both listening to and writing lots of different styles of music.

Case in point: I recently put together the sheet music and tabs for a couple traditional hymns that I wrote.
