I composed and performed all of the Victorian-esque music for the game.

I’m proud to offer all of the music from the game, which is mostly piano and strings, for free on my website! You can listen to all of the songs by streaming them through my online music player, or you can download the MP3′s directly from my Matches & Matrimony page.

Here is the full description of the game, which is currently available on Amazon.com for PC’s, and soon to be available elsewhere for Mac:

Take the starring role in Jane Austen’s most popular novels as you become one of the Bennet sisters in search of a husband. Will you pursue Mr. Bingley, whose good nature has already endeared him to your sister, or perhaps Mr. Darcy, the famous protagonist from Pride and Prejudice? The narrative of Matches & Matrimony comes from the combining of 3 different novels, allowing you to create new storylines from Miss Austen’s most famous works! As you play, you will pick your daily routine to improve your characteristics, and then select your own path through the intersecting stories. With 9 different endings to be discovered, Matches & Matrimony can be played again and again as you create your own tale of classic romance.

You know what is interesting? I’ve been waiting to post this music for a good two years now! Yep, that’s right: I finished the music back in early 2009, but for various reasons the game wasn’t completed and published until now. Hopefully the music is more like good wine or fine cheese, aging well with time! ;-)

At any rate, I’m excited to finally be able to offer the music to everyone. You’ll find a lot of lighthearted tracks, as well as a few melancholy ones. Some are a little dramatic, but most songs in the game are soothing. The songs are predominantly piano, but unlike my other solo piano albums like Awaken or The Renewing, these tracks include quite a bit of strings.

Since then, the original game has made its way onto the iPhone, iPad, Android, and Nintendo WiiWare. Earlier this year, a social version of Airport Mania, called “Airport Mania: Non-Stop Flights” was released for the iPhone. Now, players can experience even more cuteness, color, and family-friendly fun with the release of Airport Mania: Wild Trips.

Just like with the first game in the series, I wrote and performed all of the music for Airport Mania: Wild Trips. Don’t expect any solo piano tracks on this soundtrack, though; it’s all upbeat and smiley (is that a real word?) to match the tone of the game.

Dusk World is part book and part game. Much like with a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book, the player can make choices that determine the outcome of the story. The music for the game is cute, upbeat, and very percussive.  I would say the music is more similar to the music I did for the game Airport Mania than the music I did for the game Build in Time.

Music Catch is a very simple game.  Shapes appear based on the music that is playing.  Collect shapes to earn points.  The more shapes you collect, the more points you get.  Yellow shapes are special because they increase your multiplier.  Red shapes are bad because they reduce your multiplier.  The iPhone version of Music Catch features “Before Dawn” from my album “Swept Away”, and “Leaves in the Wind” from my second solo-piano album “Deep Joy”.

The first and second web game versions of Music Catch have been played millions of times.  Music Catch is also available as a download game for PC and Mac. So, what are you waiting for?  Go get Music Catch for your iPhone to be able to play it from anywhere!
